The Ultimate Pool!!
Edwards Pools of Ohio, Ultimate Pool

Are you looking for a pool that will work in a oddball situation? If you are then the Ultimate pool could be an option for you. Do you live in a neighborhood that does not allow above ground pools? If you do and don't have the budget to spend $30,000 + on a inground pool, but can spend $10,000 to $15,000, then the Ultimate Pool could be for you.

The Ultimate pool is basically an above ground pool that can be used as an inexpensive inground. It is designed too be built above ground, semi-inground, or completely inground. The pool comes as a package with the wall panels, liner, skimmer, pump, filter and ladder as a complete kit.

The wall panels are a 14 gauge galvanized steel panel. They are the same quality as a inground pool panel. The panels are 52" tall allowing for a 4' water depth with a flat bottom install. You can customize the bottom of the pool to different depths if you want. When you do that the cost will increase. A flat bottom is done with mason sand, compacted into place like a regular above ground pool. If you change the depth, now you want too put in a vermiculite base so that it holds on the slopes. The added cost of the material, plus ordering a custom liner is where the price increase comes from.

An optional Batten Board Vertical Siding kit can be ordered to finish off the outside of the pool. If the pool is installed above ground or semi-inground you can leave the walls exposed, but the siding is available.

A synthetic wood top cap is one option too finish off the top of the pool. This option is great for matching up to exsisting decks. The pool can also come with an aluminum coping piece for pouring a concrete deck. This gives you a clean finished look with a concrete deck.

Sizes and Pricing.

The Ultimate comes in three round and three oval sizes. The pricing is broken down into pool kit and then the install. Installation includes up too 2' of dig work and the mason sand for a flat bottom install. There are many other options you can look at with this pool. Do you want to add a main drain? (Highly recommended). Do you want to pour a footer around the bottom of the pool? Add a walkin step on a pool completely buried? Concrete or patio paver decking for pools that are all the way in the ground? If you sink the pool and want to do concrete decking, we recommend backfilling with gravel too take care of the settling issue. As you can tell there are many factors that can affect the final price.
